We had a blast taking the kids around to the learning-oriented pocket parks in Rocking Horse Farm. They learned how to pick the produce, how to identify when it's ripe, and most importantly - enjoy a fresh snack!
Each of the Pocket Parks has its own theme, representing different indigenous North Dakota flora and planted in distinguishing rows. The themes include a Berry Patch, Apple Orchard, Field Crop, Native Tree, and a future Flower Garden pocket park. There are informational plaques next to the sidewalk identifying the plants.
