On Monday, April 25, the West Fargo School Board selected Meadowlark Elementary School as the name for the new elementary school at Rocking Horse Farm. The western meadowlark is the state bird of North Dakota.
The other top choices considered during the final vote were Rocking Horse Elementary and Veterans Elementary.
Construction on Meadowlark Elementary will begin this spring. The school is scheduled to be completed by August 2023.
