Grand opening planned for November 2025!

Meadowlark Elementary at Rocking Horse Farm Won't be Ready this Fall

Meadowlark Elementary at Rocking Horse Farm was originally scheduled for an August 2023 completion date. Due to labor shortages, supply issues and the overall construction climate, Meadowlark will not be opening its doors this fall leaving about 415 students in their current overcrowded elementary schools.

Despite Meadowlark Elementary not opening this fall, West Fargo Public schools approved the hiring process for a principal and about 10 teachers. Although the new school won’t opening until 2024, this new staff will be placed in the current overcrowded elementary schools to provide additional teaching support.
